Think Money

As I sit and wonder about all the people who never consider making money outside of their paycheck I begin to become anxious and a bit freakishly happy. That's because all those people are what I'd like to call, free piles of money...I believe that all of those people are just piles of money waiting to be sorted through by the people who like work, getting things done and getting things when we want them! I like to think that I have an obligation to maintain a certain level of independence and a portion of that independence is manifested from my ability to finance my life and  be able to make money without someone else's designation. I think that it is very important to know how to look at life through a financially creative, optimistic lens. What I'm trying to say is that looking at life around yourself and being able to see where you can make legitimate financial gains, is a survival tool. When I step outside my front door I look at all of my flowers and wonder, "Could I cut these flowers to make a couple bouquets and sell them?". And after I get over my initial, overly optimistic, state of vision I begin thinking about how I could truly grow enough flowers next year and do research on what I might need to accomplish an idea such as that. Last year I decided I wanted to make a calendar and sell it. It was as easy as using my iPhone4S to take all the pictures and videos I needed (even editing some photos) and creating the actual calendar design and layout on a computer suite that came with my computer. To make some money from this calendar I sat in the same chair I'm sitting in right now and the most brilliant idea hit me. I decided to sell the calendar as a digital wallpaper series while I looked for small business that might be interested in putting some on their shelves. As I suspected, every business owner is down to make some money with you as long as they don't have to spend any ((lol)). This year I'm thinking about making the calendar an app for the iPhone (sorry androiders((not really lol))). The point I'm trying to make is, just because you haven't heard of someone else doing it or you don't see anyone else selling it, you don't have to be like them. You can sell them things and sort through their wallets without even reaching out. There's money all around you and you poses the potential to create something valuable or at least the ability to know when there's a probable chance to make money from something . Find out what that is and tap into it. It could be anything from sub-leasing an under-priced property to having bake sales. If you make it someone will need it and if you sell it they will buy it.
Keep your mind happy and keep looking for opportunities.
