So as a trader it's very important that I have access to tons of information quickly and not just any information but good useful info. I think it's hella important to have not only information that affect your trades ready to be read and reviewed but also your trading information itself ready to be reviewed. The information I'm referring to is a trade-log or journal which details your trading behavior and reasoning. If you don't have one of these I'd suggest you buy one, make one, or steal one immediately. This information, in my opinion is essential to becoming a suuceesful trader who can display and utilize as an instrument of knowledge and understanding of ones own financial behavior. With this information you can visually see how your trading is affected by all the things that occurred during that time. You can see what days and times are most profitable for you and visa-versa which times are most costly for you to trade. And then BAM!! It just hit your bitch ass... With at type of knowledge and understanding you could essentially remove your losing periods of trading and add to your most profitable periods. And we all know what that's means, "MO MONEY MO MONEY MO!!"
After I review my period of trading and determine what I see as errors, I'll write rules for myself and some actually become a part of my trading strategy while others function only as temporary guides valid until not. I then use those rules during my trading and I'll take note of results so I can review my patterns change since the new rules came in play. I'm my own referee (lol).
So try it out, in the worst, best case scenario it can only help your trading and in the worst case worst scenario waste your time. As for me I take the time to review my trading patterns weekly to assure I'm executing my strategy and sticking to my portfolio plan. If you need a trade journal I'll post a link ASAP to download a copy of mine that I created and use. As always folks, keep your mind happy and your trading behavior in check (lol).
